CELEBRATE DOWNTOWN WESTMONT

The Chamber of Commerce Downtown Westmont Business Alliance will host the Celebrate Downtown Westmont. The two-day event offers live music, a chalk art demonstration (pictured at right), outdoor movies, a raffle for residents who visit downtown businesses, and many DWBA store specials. Village of Westmont Hosts
Community Garage Sale Events

Each year, the Village of Westmont organizes Community-Wide Garage Sales, which encourages residents to hold their garage sales during the same weekend to bring out the bargain hunters en masse. Westmont residents south of the BNSF railroad tracks will hold their garage sales. Residents north of the tracks will hold their sales. Hours of garage sales will be publicized from 8:00am - 5:00pm on each day.

Participants receive free publicity for their sales in local newspapers. Publicity will include location and date(s) of sale. Village garage sale permits are not required for garage sales held in conjunction with the Community Garage Sale event.

Participants should sign up by Friday, June 5 by emailing specialevents@westmont.il.gov or calling 630-829-WEST. Participants must include their name, address of sale, and dates of participation to be included in the publicity. For more info, call (630) 829-WEST.
