Each year, the Taste of Westmont is held during the month of July in Westmont, Illinois. On Sunday, the closing night of the event, the Taste features the MUDDY WATERS BLUES TRIBUTE. The annual event honors the music and career of the Godfather of the Blues by bringing in some of the best "old school" blues artists to perform the music of Muddy Waters.

LINE-UP ANNOUNCED
In 2008, the MWBT will feature a great line-up of blues musicians. Included on the bill are...
BILLY BRANCH - Blues great and one of Chicago's favorite harp players
BILLY FLYNN - Great "old school" blues guitar player and former member of the Legendary Blues Band. Billy was recently part of the "Cadillac Records" Soundtrack which is due out next year and will feature the legenary story of Chess Records.
SHIRLEY KING - The daughter of the King of the Blues BB King will work her musical magic with the audience.
MUD MORGANFIELD - The eldest son of Muddy Waters and authentic "son of a gun" will show you that the fruit has not fallen far from the tree.
EDDIE TAYLOR JR. - The son of great blues guitarist and songwriter Eddie Taylor.
BARRELHOUSE CHUCK - One of the great "pianta" players in the tradition of Otis Spann and Pinetop Perkins.
